"2003" Acrylic Painting- RESTORED

"2003" is an 18.5" x 14" one-of-a-kind original, limited edition acrylic piece of handmade art that was painted by trippy contemporary artist Sydney Nova.

--It had an unfortunate accident in early 2023 and had to take a break while it healed, but it got restored (by me) almost back to normal, and is now back and available to be cherished once more, for a slightly discounted price!

Do you remember that feeling of listening to Britney Spears or Backstreet Boys on your vintage Hello Kitty radio back in the early 2000s? The feeling that memory should evoke is the same feeling this painting tries to pull out of you. Did it work? The painting shows a vintage Hello Kitty radio sitting on a purple, leopard print table. There is a very happy, green ghost coming out through the speakers and they are having the time of their life. The wallpaper behing them is very pink and littered with stars, and a large rainbow is coming out of the other side of the speaker, and through the ghosts head.

This piece has been shown at Pancakes and Booze November 2022 , Pancakes and Booze April 2023, and an exhibition called Planet Pride in DTLA from June-August 2023.
